This seems to be a 'never ending' project. I do know there is light at the end of the tunnel... but getting there is taking much longer than I thought!
With the house:
- drywall is finished, smooth finish on the ceilings
- ceilings painted, walls primed
- garage door installed
- 2 of the 3 bathrooms tiled (where's the Hall bathroom)
- floor tile 2/3 completed
- gas tank buried, gas water heater installed
- 'early release' so we have power to the house & then through to the Shop
- Steve's moving the dirt around for the new drive and the landscaping around the house
- purchasing & installing light fixtures & ceiling fans
- finish carpenter installing exterior door hardware
The Shop:
- All painting completed
- caulked around the baseboards
- installed fans/lights
- electric finalized
- FINAL INSPECTION -- we have the "Certificate of Occupancy" (THE C/O!!!!)
- cable and phone connected
- This weekend we should be able to start the great transition into the shop office and studio.

Yes.. closer, but still several weeks before we can think about moving in!
